Life-Work Planning Center provides a supportive environment where you can explore career/job options, build self-esteem and confidence in your ability to make decisions, set goals, and become self sufficient.
The 10-Week Personal Growth/Career Development Workshops will begin Monday, January 7 and will include some of these topics:
- Transitions: It starts with an end and works through to a beginning
- Stress Management: Staying “Cool”
- Assertive Communication: Say what you mean while still respecting yourself and others
- Personality Styles: Yes, we’re all different, and that’s a good thing!
- Career Assessment: Explore your career options and the best “fit” for you
- Values: When you figure out what’s important to you it all falls in place
- Decision Making: How do you choose?
- Skills and Interests: What are you doing when ‘time flies’?
- Dreams and Barriers: And the formula for success

We offer career and life planning services for women. Workshops are free (for Displaced Homemakers) or at a minimal fee. Mileage and child care reimbursements are available. Our fee scale is supported by private grants. |
